Why This Matters
Our democracy depends on equal voice, yet lobbying rules currently allows waste and corruption. This undermines public trust and prevents government accountability.
We petition County Board to implement voting reforms. Specifically, we demand public disclosure requirements, public reporting, and whistleblower protections.
These reforms have been successfully adopted in model governments. It's time for our district to join them in strengthening democratic accountability.
