Why This Matters
Our democracy depends on fair representation, yet voting procedures currently allows special interests to dominate. This undermines public trust and prevents public trust.
We petition County Board to implement voting reforms. Specifically, we demand independent oversight, public reporting, and criminal penalties.
These reforms have been successfully adopted in neighboring states. It's time for our county to join them in strengthening democratic accountability.
